A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Gene started in retail as a sales representative with a Waterbed City in the 80s. Amassing over $10M in personal sales, Gene ran retail stores for many years before taking on a VP Sales leadership role with City Furniture in South Florida, also and Ashley HomeStore Licensee. With 30+ years of retail experience, Gene took on his current leadership role with Ashley on January 1, 2015.
